More lambs!

Yesterday we had a lovely but simple black ewe lamb with white Krunet born out of Dominique by Captain Hook. Today, we have a wildly colored ewe lamb born out of her daughter, Sister, sired by Captain Hook! She looks Bersugget as there's not much gray back in the pedigrees, but she could be a Shaela or gray -wouldn't that be nice to have a beautiful 'blue' Shaela tho! SO hard to get! We shall see as time goes by!

she looks bersugget to me! I've had a few of them that way. they will turn Ag. In my experience with shaela they are born black but will change later...usually looking dark brown at 6 months and by shearing the following spring a pewter color throughout (no blend of gray/white, but true pewter in each fiber). Redbud had a lamb yesterday...she's a shaela and for sale...and from mary ellen...carries spots...and only 65 pounds mature! She is defintely shaela now! congrats!

I had my first BFL too lamb today :)

Ya think Bersugget? That sure would be nice! I don't have a gray here yet except Peyton! Thanks for the words! And you had a BFL today! YAY!!! I'm betting the others will just be late spring/summer bloomers!

I've even had musket and lt grey/greys that don't fade untill 6 months (very nice lamb fleeces!) She may be a dk (AG) grey.

I had twin ewe lambs my first year that looked very similar to that spottie; one was black and white and one was grey and white. Both were Ag, perhaps even Ag/Ag, as both parents were Ag.
