Just a little dribble on the news tonight, something we here locally have all suspected right along.....
it's official.....
This has been the coldest summer on record.
We knew that. The garden knows that. Even the animals know it. My goodness have they been consuming the groceries around here!
So now that July is over with, the skies have parted and the sun is shining and temps are hitting in the upper 60's and low 70's for a few days anyways....
it's about time!

Yeah, we saw that on our news, too, and I thought of you....
We've had a more "normal" summer here, and the tomatoes knew it way before anyone else did. No bumper crop this year.
We used to have very cool summers here, never getting above 85 for very long, then cooling down into the 40s at night. But we've noticed more humidity than ever before...must be all the darned pools in Phoenix. LOL!
