TADA! Presenting Minwawe Barbados's first born, a lovely daughter out of Alaska Natalie! This year's first registered lamb has finally arrived.
Decisions decisions....is she a Moorit Krunet or a Musket? Mother carries Ag with some white fibers in her fleece at 3 years of age. Dad is a Moorit spotted Yuglet Smirslet Sockett. Well, on close examination she's a Moorit Krunet! YIPEE!
Silveraurora Sister looks to be next...hmmmm...that tail sticking straight out for the last few hours is at least a good indicator, eh? :-)
Above is Natalie and her daughter....

Congratulations! Way to go! WaaHoo! But have you told her she's in Alaska yet? ;-)
Natalie does not look to carry Ag to me; she looks solid (maybe with iset?). My understanding is that if they carry Ag, they show it; there's no hiding that greying gene. So your lamb would HAVE to be a solid. And a very nice-looking girl she is! Congratulations!
Hi
I agree with Michelle, Natalie does not look like an Ag sheep-- a solid, perhaps with iset white fibers. But an Ag would be so much more gray--dark face and legs, but light, light color on the body.
So as Michelle said, I don't think you need to worry that she'll throw gray, ever. That Barbados is an especially handsome dad, by the way.
Congratulations!

Thank you all! I sent Big photos to Peeps and she agrees...no gray, so we're safe with nice dark Moorit with Krunet. I've often seen Krunets in my unregistered flock, but they have always turned gray or Musket, so I was doubting myself. ;-)A third lamb was born early this morning, a Moorit ram lamb with tight crimp and small Krunet. 3 for 3 on the Krunets now as well as the Moorit, hehehe...
